Optima boasts a SawnPly™ Wear Layer which we offer at multiple levels of thickness, A deeper layer made of hardwood core slats that strengthens against cupping; a third, stabilizing layer, and finally, an additional, thick SawnPly layer as strong and durable as the first.
All purposely bonded perpendicular one to the other to defeat expansion and contraction in extreme climates.
Color Depth Technlogy
Our, Color Depth Technology, introduces 3 base, unfinished, platforms shades: Natural, Fumed, and Carbonized. Which make the precise matching of custom colors possible, as well as creating, sophisticated colors that are virtually impossible to get with any available stains.
Reliable and Resilient
Our Optima build has been tested to yield the highest Relative Humidity Rating for hardwood flooring in the market today.

The simple beauty of French white oak is projected through our Natural platform. This untreated product is a great starting base for whites and lighter to medium colors as well as grays and taupes.

Interested in creating some of the warmest browns and leather colors? The Optima Carbonized platform is created by slow cooking the wood in high heat until it changes to a light brown. This process is the perfect start to creating light to dark browns without the need for a heavy stain which masks the natural beauty of the wood. In addition, best of all, the color penetrates completely through the wood eliminating deep scratches and dings from exposing light colored wood underneath the finish.

Everyone appreciates the elegance of deep dark floors. To achieve the best version of these you must start with the correct base. Optima Fumed is created by producing a tannic reaction under high heat, pressure and some secret formulas. The result is a charcoal colored base that is the perfect foundation for deep rich browns and blacks. Rest assured this fumed base delivers floors that are the envy of every discriminating critic. In addition, the dark color penetrates completely through the wood eliminating deep scratches and dings from exposing light colored wood underneath the finish.
